About Hanna

Hello! My name is Hanna, and I am from the DFW area south of Dallas. I love reading, trying new foods, and hiking when our Texas weather isn't too crazy! I graduated college in 2021 from UT Tyler with my Bachelor's in Mathematics. Throughout college, I never knew what I wanted to do as a career, and honestly, I still don't know! Yet, something that has not changed is my passion for working with children. Since my sophomore year in high school, I have had volunteer opportunities or jobs that revolved around serving children, including many experiences, from caring for babies in my church's nursery to tutoring high schoolers for their SAT. I currently work as a 5th-grade math teacher, and I love seeing them grow and achieve those lightbulb moments of understanding. I do not know if teaching is my life-long career, but I do believe regardless of whatever path I take, my life will include loving on children, watching them grow, and teaching them whatever I can along the way!
