About Halley

As a registered nurse, I am experienced in caring for seniors. I worked for a year on a medical-surgical floor caring for adults of all ages with a wide variety of medical needs. I became a nurse so that I could rub people's feet and hear about their grandchildren. I find a great deal of satisfaction in sitting with an elderly person and hearing their stories. I think it's a small way I can protect their dignity and remind them that they matter. I would be comfortable administering medications and performing assessments at home (vital signs, auscultation, etc.), and I would certainly devote a large portion of my energy towards simply being with your loved one and validating them.
