About Gwen

I love taking care of people. I have cried with my patients and their families. I have been a patient advocate for my patients with family members. I have 6+ years of ICU experience, have 1 year experience of providing post anesthesia care following pain management injections in a pain clinic. I provided care for my father for over a year while he was critically ill and held his hand when he was dying in a hospital prior to being a nurse. I have been of service to my mother when visiting her who has early stages dementia as well as a host of other medical issues. I have received cards and gifts from families of whose family members care I provided in the ICU setting telling me that I was a GREAT nurse and to keep doing the job I was doing. Providing care for others is my calling in this life. I am honored to have been blessed with my nursing degree and skills I have learned as a result of this adventure.
