About Grace

Hi there! My name is Grace and I am a 19-year-old college student at UNC Charlotte. I am studying Special Education while minoring in Psychology and Children's Literature & Childhood Studies to become a teacher in the future! While in school, I work as a substitute teacher for grades K-8, and I have also completed an internship in a second grade classroom. I have experience with tutoring general education students grades K-8 and special education students grades K-12. I enjoy tutoring because I love seeing the constant growth in kids, seeing them improve in their academics, and watching them meet and exceed their academic goals. I would describe my personality as kind, patient, and supportive. I feel like students thrive while working with someone with these traits because it makes them feel like they are in a safe environment and makes them feel more confident in their academics.
