About Grace

Hi there! My name is Grace, I am from Overland Park, KS and went to Saint Thomas Aquinas for high school. Through high school I worked as a lifeguard, dog groomer (believe it or not!), and ended up with a long-term nannying job for multiple summers. After I graduated, I attended the University of Kansas and was able to find an opportunity for another long-term babysitting/nannying job and was with that family whenever I was home from college (including during COVID) and was working with them for 3 years (I still babysit for them intermittently). At KU I studied Speech-Language-Hearing and graduated with a degree in CSD (communication sciences & disorders) with a double minor in linguistics and psychology as well as a certificate in brain & mind development. Most of my education in undergrad was centered around child development, communication (language, sign language, nonverbal language, etc.) and psychology. Currently I am in graduate school at Rockhurst!
