About Glenda

Hi parents! My name is Glenda and I have been a nanny for the last 11 years. I am looking for ocasional weekend babysitting ideally in or close to Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Chevy chase or McLean VA area. I have experience with all ages. I would describe myself as fun-loving, outdoorsy, crafty, and patient. A regular day with me could consist of free play as well as intentional play and age appropriate activities to promote cognitive, social/emotional, language and motor skill development. I tailor activities to the needs of the child and love working with parents to meet developmental milestones. I love to get outdoors whenever possible so love to keep busy with walks, park trips, museum outings, or attending scheduled activities. I have a passion for childcare and really pour my heart into caring for the children under my watch.
