About Ginger

Hi, I have been teaching for 24 years. I have most of my experience in early childhood where the foundations of reading and math are taught. If your child is struggling in these areas I am equipped with lots of strategies to help your child. I'd describe my personality as bright, confident and creative. I like tutoring because I love to help children and when they finally get it and the lightbulb goes off it makes my day. I'm looking for a job that works around my full time job schedule and allows me to help others. I started tutoring when I started teaching to supplement my income. In my spare time, I like to read, travel and bake. One thing you should know about me is I love to teach and I love kids. I have been doing this for a long time and I still love it. My skills include planning fun hands on learning activities to help students learn, assessing where students are and teaching them from there and moving them forward, and using data to plan my lessons.
