About Gillian

Hello! I was a middle school Spanish teacher in outdoor education for the last 8 years and am currently in graduate school to be a speech therapist. I have taken courses in infant toddler communication and development. I have 22 years of babysitter and educator experience. I'm happy to do light housework and cooking! Higher rates reflect first aid certifications, competence, and willingness to be engaged and play with your children. I have my Wilderness First Responder (advanced CPR + First Aid), have been certified as a life guard, certified in swift water rescue (am an ACA Kayak instructor). I speak Spanish and English. Non-smoker, excellent driving record, comfortable with animals. I am mostly available for short term babysitting gigs / date nights and can be given short notice. I cannot work during working hours on week days because I work in a speech clinic with children on literacy, autism and speech disorders. I'm happy to work with babies and children of all ages.
