About Genesis

Kiddos have always fascinated me. There is something about the bright-eyed look they get when they've discovered or learned something new, the unwavering truth-telling that just makes you want to laugh, and the innocence and wholeness yet tainted by the real world that warms my heart and restores my faith in the simple thing. My journey as a caretaker started when I was young, watching over the hoard of children in my family. As I got older, there were just more kids! In middle and high school, I tutored kids my age and younger. I think I've just always had a passion for connecting. I went away for college and took a break from child care, however, I am back home and ready to connect with the young minds and hearts of the future. It is my fundamental belief that kids should be celebrated, supported, and cheered on. We have so much to learn from them. That being said, I hope to get to meet you and your family.
