About Gena

Hi, I love helping people and listening to them tell stories of their journeys and life experiences, as well as giving them the time, care and attention they need and deserve. I am prior military (AF) and have been working for the Dept of Defense for 21 years. I have an outstanding work ethic, always have an upbeat attitude, and show the utmost respect for people I interact with. My biggest pet peeves are rudeness and tardiness. I value other peoples' time as well as my own. I worked in a VA nursing home, an assisted living facility and as a home health aide between 1999 and 2002 as a CNA. Since then I have been working for the Dep of Defense and have not kept up my CNA certificate but would like to get back into home health care. I can help with Bathing, Dressing, Cooking, Companionship, Transportation Services, Shopping and Light Housecleaning. I look forward to meeting that special someone who needs a little help as well as attentive interaction.
