Hello! My name is Gabby. I have 5 furry babies, 2 cats and 3 dogs. My cats' names are Zoe (3 years, 1 month) and Vincent (1 year). My dogs names are Malachi (5 years), Esther (1 year) and Contessa (2 years). Esther and Malachi are dachshunds and Contessa is an English mastiff. I have been taking care of animals since I was very young. I have owned all of my animals since they were 8-12 weeks old. I consider them to be part of the family. My dogs and I go on a nightly walk and it is their second favorite thing besides grooming. On their grooming day, they all line up and wait patiently for their turn for me to bathe them because they know about the treat that will come afterwards. Recently, our dog Malachi, had a flair up of IVDD and was paralyzed in his hind quarters. I have learned to efficiently express the bladder and bowel of a paralyzed animal. I know not many owners of paralyzed animals can find sitters because it can be a tough job. I, however, think it is easy as long as it is done with love and the dog stays in a good mood while being cared for. I love being with animals and I know my life would be completely different without them. If you've had trouble in the past finding someone to care for your pets the way you would, I can assure you I definitely could! I have been pet sitting since I was 14 years old and over the years have accepted jobs that lasted anywhere from 1 week to 2 months.
