About Fernanda

I got my start in childcare much like every other person, high school babysitting. I was a hot commodity in my neighborhood, working regularly with two families while taking on other families for more last-minute appointments. I worked hard to create fulfilling relationships based on trust with the littles I watched. A priority of mine when starting a journey with a new family is creating excitement around my presence by establishing traditions or activities to look forward to (picnic in the living room, field day in the backyard, movie theatre night). Creating these experiences helps me build those relationships and creates the lasting happy memories I pride myself on. My most unique childcare experience was spending 3 months in Spain as an Au Pair. The opportunity to be a live-in nanny allowed me to experience the nuances of childcare at all hours as well as learn how to care for children past what's expected on a standard date night babysitting gig.
