About Fatima

I like working with kids because they inspire me to continue pursuing my degree in pediatric neuropsychology. All the kids I've worked with so far have challenged me with their creativity and openness. I'm looking for a job that will be flexible (as I am a college student) and will help me expand on my experience with children. I started working in December of 2022 through Jumpstart at DePaul University. This program is a part of Americorps in which we work at low-income schools due to a study that was shown that these children need more one-on-one influence to expand their vocabulary. I have worked at Lawndale Academy and Christopher House. In my spare time, I like to bake, read, dance, and draw! One thing you should know about me is that I am very in touch with my culture. I also try to be every organized such as having a planner. My skills include course planning, social-emotional help, and patience.
