About Evie

I'm a positive and enthusiastic recent graduate from UCLA and an experienced English tutor. During my first two years in college, I worked as an English tutor at their English Learning Center, where I tutored students in one-on-one and group settings to foster confidence in English writing, listening, and speaking/conversational skills. I also adjust tutoring sessions to accommodate different learning styles. I gained Level I and Level II Tutoring Certifications from the College Reading and Learning Association. I also worked as an After-School Teacher at a learning center in Fremont. I managed virtual class scheduling for 14 kindergarteners and first-graders. I also facilitated weekly math, reading, spelling, and writing enrichment lessons, and arts and crafts activities. Now that I'm out of school, I'm looking for a way to earn a little extra money while doing what I love.
