Hello! My name is Eugena and I am currently an Education major. I will be receiving my Bachelors degree in Secondary English Education in December. I love literature and I plan to become an Intensive Reading teacher as that is my passion, to help students who are struggling in reading. Through my education and experience with my internships and substitute teaching. I have gained skills in teaching Writing crafts, comprehension techniques and other Language Arts skills. I currently intern at the high school level and teach as a substitute at an Elementary school. I have been teaching at the elementary school since October and I am very well known. I most often teach the intermediate students (4th and 5th graders). I taught 4th grade Math for a month and discovered that I really enjoy Math, although my major is in English. I am stubborn in the way that I find pleasure in persevering through a Math problem until it is solved. I would be interested in tutoring a student in either subject. I do have quite a few professional in the field teachers that I can use as references if need be.
