About Estela

I worked for an after-school program from 2012 to 2018 where I first began working with children. I was assigned different grade levels starting from Pre-k up to 5th grade. I assisted students with better understanding their homework. I am currently working for a school district as a para-educator for special ed. I started working for this district in 2017 and have worked with students with so many different abilities: ADD, ADHD, autism, down syndrome, and mobile impairments. I am familiar with g-tube, trachea, and seizure care as well as diapering, feeding, and other personal care. I have also worked with non-verbal kids and have basic understanding of ASL. I have taken and passed my CSET and CBEST, and I am an aspiring teacher with an Associates degree in Social Sciences and Social Behaviors. Last but not least, I am a mother of two!
