I'm looking for a position with a family who would benefit from me bringing my own toddler (DOB 12/2021) along as a playmate. I have a Bachelor's degree and Early Childhood teaching certifications, glowing references, and extensive knowledge of child development. My childcare philosophy is based on my study of Reggio-Emilia, Montessori, and RIE methods with emphasis on play-based learning and lots of time spent outside in nature. I believe children learn and grow best through trusting relationships with caregivers and respect for children as individual human beings. I practice culturally responsive and nurturing guidance, provide consistency and routine, foster independence, and model kindness in all interactions with children in my care. I work best with families who view their nanny as a knowledgeable professional and an part of their family's village.

Erin has been with our family since our third boy was born in May of 2017. I now have a 1,2, and 4 year old. Erin has been a lifesaver for me personally. While it's hard to leave your kids having Erin makes it easy. I don't worry and I know not only are they in good hands but she is like having a private preschool teacher in my house. She is creative and fun. She is also confident and firm with my boys which of course they need. I also have 2 dogs and she is capable of caring for all of my babies. You would be lucky to have Erin as a part of your family. I would keep her forever if she wasn't moving to another state.
