About Emma

To Whom It May Concern, Hey there, My name is Emma! I originally moved to New York from the Midwest to pursue higher education in acting, but since then have also fallen in love with early childhood education and caregiving. I spend most of my free time sewing, painting, trying desperately to learn Spanish, and creating miniatures from recycled materials. In addition to my 7 years experience Nannying in NYC I have a background in curriculum development, team management, creating enrichment classes, and web-based edu-tainment. Throughout Covid lockdown I produced and starred in two live educational web series aimed at kids under 7 who were stuck at home. I'm very passionate about singing, crafting, playing pretend and using play based learning to get kids excited about the world around them. I have extensive experience engaging with families and helping kids meet their educational and social-emotional milestones both in and out of the classroom!
