About Emma

I've spent the past few years watching over family and friend's pets: cats, fish, and bunnies, but I am most comfortable with dogs. I have experience with most sizes/ages of dogs- from bichons to german shepherds, 3 months old to elderly. My family has 4 big dogs who are full of energy (a lab/golden, australian shepherd/lab, german shepherd/golden, and golden-doodle). For years my family volunteered with prison dogs- during the week dogs would be trained by inmates at a correctional facility in Hagerstown, MD, then on the weekend the dog would stay at our house and we'd apply their training to real-world. Once they finished training, they'd go on to be paired with someone in need of a service dog. So, while I'm not a formal dog trainer, I have some experience with it.
