About Emma

An intentional, intelligent, and compassionate tutor, I am available for tutoring, lessons, childcare, pet care, errands, odd jobs, and housekeeping. I love to teach other people and to share my knowledge. I am currently employed as an engineer and graduated from RIT with a B. S. in packaging science cum laude. I am willing to work with any subject, and would prefer to have access to textbooks or school notes in order to provide the best help that I can. I particularly like to tutor math, English, and science. I am very comfortable tutoring up through algebra and I am willing to do higher levels of math if I am provided with resources, such as a text book or school notes, to refresh my memory. My previous experience includes tutoring, substitute teaching, nannying, babysitting, college intern manager, and a teaching role as a wilderness guide and camp counselor at an Adirondack summer camp. I am certified in CPR, Advanced First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and Pet CPR and First Aid.
