About Emma

Growing up, my mother ran a daycare for special needs kids out of our home. I feel that the way I was raised was the best preparation a person could ask for when they aspire to work with kids. I began my first nannying job at 17 for an 8 and a 10-year-old, I cared for them after school for 3 years and full time in the summers. Following that job I began nannying full time for a family with three kids, a 6-month-old, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. I stayed with this family for 7 years, until they moved away. Following this job I worked as a preschool teacher for 2 years. I was the primary teacher in the 2-year-old class for a year and then the primary teacher in the 3-year-old class after that. I love crafts, music, board games and sports. Whether I am changing diapers, pushing a stroller, helping with homework, or driving kids to soccer practice, I do what I can each and every day to make sure every child is in a safe, caring, and of course fun environment!
