I am a trained educator and experienced nanny seeking part-time nannying work to fill out my schedule as a freelance writer. My most recent job was several years ago as a nanny for a 5-month-old boy and a 4-year-old girl (2019). I have plentiful experience as an live in nanny: 4 months for a family in Switzerland, caring full-time for their 5-month-old infant (2013). Before that, I lived with a family in Portland, OR, and provided full-time care for their 8 month and 2 yr old. I have more than 15 years of nanny and teaching experience with children from a wide range of ages and abilities. I have a primary teaching license in Colorado. I worked with ESL students, Reading Recovery and scaffolding for special education. I can offer excellent references from families I have nannied for as well as master teachers I have worked with in the classroom. I have excelled as an educator and caregiver because of my passion, dedication and natural intuition with children. My rate is $20/hr.
