About Emily

I like working with kids because they are so unpredictable and they love unconditionally! They are also changing everyday! I started working with kids when I was in elementary school when my mom watched a 2-year-old and 6-year-old, I helped her out a ton. From there I began to volunteer to work with kids 2-12 years old in a dance program and did the early childhood education program at boces my junior and senior year. At boces I helped run a Tuesday-Thursday preschool and did lesson plans! After I graduated I worked at a daycare for 2 years a majority of it being with infants! In my spare time, I like to do winterguard and colorguard in drum corps! I work very hard at it and I have been doing it since I was 9 years old! It has taught me lots of discipline! My skills include finding new ways for children to learn, doing activities along side children, and being patient with children!
