About Emily

I love working with kids because they teach me something new every day. I grew up with 5 siblings and I am certified in Conflict Management so I can mediate situations, while bolstering your child's problem solving skills. I also studied Leadership in early development, so I can help your child grow their independence and social skills. Moreover, I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I have a deep understanding for the patience, empathy, and structure that child-care entails, and I'm confident that I can cultivate a safe/fun environment for your children to thrive. I want to act as a support system for your child, encouraging self sufficiency and confidence in their own abilities. I am flexible in terms of scheduling and routine; I will adapt to any and all needs of your child. I started babysitting when I was 15 years old, and throughout college, I worked closely with a family who had three children aged 11, 8, and 1. I watched them for 4 years, including overnight stays.
