About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I am relatively new to the Ahoskie area. I have two awesome boys- a first grader and a three- year- old- and a sweet baby girl. I have been trying and failing to get back into the workforce due to the seemingly large lack of childcare for toddlers and younger, in particular. I am hoping to help alleviate this in a small way for myself and for the community by taking on some children to watch! I do have a large goofy dog, Emmitt, a little cat, Cello, and a kitten we are integrating, Millie, but they keep to themselves. Our dog is very sweet and can easily be kept away from us while we do our daily activities. The kitten will largely be kept away aside from small social visits, as permissible. I am a Navy veteran, homemaker, and lifetime learner currently working on a degree in early childhood education. I would absolutely love the opportunity to love, care, and teach your littles in their home away from home.
