Last fall I graduated with a B. A. in Sociology with a certificate in Social Work & Social Welfare and a minor in Psychology from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I have now worked with children of the ages of Kindergarten through 6th grade and have enjoyed my time. I spent February through May of this year substituting for paraeducators, making most of my time one on one with kids. This summer, I worked as a teacher's assistant at a Special Education summer school program. Beginning at the end of August, I will be starting my position at an elementary school in Burlington, MA as a Special Education Instructional Assistant.
