About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily. I am a single mom of two wonderful children ages 7&2. I have been a teacher for a little over 3 years. Before that, I spent 3 years working with adults and children diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder. Some of my skills are implementing and writing lesson plans or activities, I'd describe my personality as outgoing, chatty and friendly. I like working with kids because I want to help each child reach their greatest individual potential. I started working with kids when I was 22. I first started working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, then moved into early childhood education. In my spare time, I like to take my kids to the park or on fun adventures! One thing you should know about me is I am a mom of two children, so some days I may have a doctor appointment or meeting to attend. This isn't often, but it is a possibility. My skills include cooking, cleaning and hygiene
