About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily R. I feel comfortable with children of all ages as well as children with disabilities. I have an 8-year-old sister who I cared for as an infant and continue to watch when needed. I have experience with special needs children, I volunteered for an organization with children with special needs for two years. I pride myself on being able to maintain a safe atmosphere for children while also being fun and light-hearted. I am CPR certified. During my time in Rhode Island, receiving my undergraduate degree, I was a part-time Nanny for a family in Rhode Island, whose contact information I would be happy to provide as a reference. This past summer I was a full-time family for a family in New York, in the town I grew up in. This past May I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Leadership studies. I have moved to the Charlotte area to continue my education, and am currently enrolled in an accelerated nursing program.
