About Emily

While pursuing my undergrad degree I worked with students to edit essays for submission to professors. I also worked as a teacher assistant in a freshman level English class during my senior year. I am now an ENL/ELA teacher, so I am well versed in understanding student's difficulties and providing them with strategies to aid them with their learning curves. I am certified in Literacy Birth-Sixth Grade which I obtained in graduate school from St. John's University. Through my coursework I have acquired the knowledge and materials to assess student's abilities and to then provide them with remediation to enhance their reading and writing skills.
