About Emily

Hi! I am currently in college for Early Education with experience teaching toddlers, early preschool, and 4th grade under my belt. I love going to the park to dispel energy and other activities such as having dance parties and doing lots of crafts! I have a car so I can provide reliable transportation and as a mom of two fur babies, I'm comfortable with pets. I'd describe my personality as creative and fun but professional. I like working with kids because I love to watch them explore the world and find their place in it. It's so exciting to watch their verbal explosion and to use the Zone of Proximal Development to raise them even higher! In my spare time, I like to take walks in nature, draw, and crochet. One thing you should know about me is I'm Neurodivergent! I was diagnosed late in life and faced a lot of struggles with it, so I have incredible empathy and patience with children going through the same.
