About Emily

Former elementary classroom teacher: 10+ years in grades K-5. Experienced educator turned SAHM. I focus on literacy, language, social-emotional skills, imaginative play, and independence. I truly do love to teach and am more than willing to work/play with your child 1-on-1. I can plan and implement any structured activities. I have worked with children for over 13 years in a variety of settings. I was a Red Cross lifeguard and swim instructor for over 10 years. I have a 1. 5-year-old and a 3-year-old who would be accompanying me most of the time. They are very well-behaved and independent. I would prefer to watch children out of my own home, but am willing to travel. Excellent communicator, patient, intuitive, energetic, loving, firm. I'm looking for a part time babysitting/tutoring job, preferably one I can do with my two children (1. 5 and 3 years old). *I would prefer to watch a child out of my own home near Corunna and Elms Rd, but can be flexible.
