About Emily

Hi there! I'm Emily. I'm a 21-year-old early elementary educator who lives and breathes for making long-lasting, positive impacts on all my kids! I've always had a love for kids- starting as a babysitter as a girl, moving onto my two years as a private caretaker for a teenager with developmental disabilities, and finally earning my place as a K-5 teacher here in Columbus! In the classroom, I strive to create strong, individual relationships with my scholars. I emphasize the importance of empathy and trust in the process of academic growth. My kids can always count on a big smile and hug to start off a day of learning! In a home setting, there will always be lots of laughs and memories made as I guide our daily routines. You can always rely on me to create a playful and patient environment. I'm very flexible and love to make the day interesting! I view working with a family as a great privilege and opportunity, and I can't wait to continue a career that I truly love.
