About Emily

I have had many years of experience tutoring and nannying kids, and I love every moment. I always have fun with them and love seeing the light on their faces when I teach them something new! I am happy to do after school pick ups and babysitting during afternoons and weekends! I started working with kids when I was around 12 years old. I began doing babysitting jobs, and nannying when I got a bit older. I have also tutored, taught private piano lessons, and worked in an early childhood center. One thing you should know about me is that I take a Montessori approach to teaching and caring for children. I have done a lot of research and have taken a few courses on child development and teaching. I encourage children to go outside and explore the things around them. I believe in children expressing themselves freely through play, exploration, and reading. Every child has a unique personality, and it's important to learn that and be attuned to their needs as a caregiver.
