About Emily

Hi there! I'm a tutor with 3 years of professional experience and many years of experience wrangling my 6 siblings (I'm number 2 out of 7). My biggest strength is in tutoring writing, but I also have experience teaching violin, drama, and more. I have worked with students from middle school through college, and I have also tutored autistic students, students with learning disabilities, and students learning English as a secondary language. I'm organized, adaptable, and independent. I take a gentle but firm approach to tutoring. I want my students to love learning, so I keep things fun by incorporating their interests.
