About Emily

I enjoy caring for children quite a bit; it's always been in my nature to be a caregiver. Since I was young, I was always the nurturing child looking after everyone. Luckily, I was given the chance to work with different types of children and all different ages. My mother used to work in a day care center and I was given the opportunity to accompany her. I helped her primarily in the infant/toddler room, but towards the end of the day we joined the main room to play and read. My paid experience started there- the parents of the children loved how I interacted with the kids and started hiring me for babysitting. All of my friends and family turn to me to watch their children as well. I have been a paid babysitter since I was 13. I have cared for children of all ages 2mo-15yo. I have experience with special needs children and adults as well. Now, that I've recently become a mother, I am searching for a position that allows me to bring my son with me.
