About Emily

I'm studying to become a Special Education and English teacher! Children have fascinating minds that challenge what we know of the world. As much as we can educate children, we can learn from them! I'm looking for a job during the summer. Being away from the classroom makes me miss all the interactions that I cherish with kids! I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself. I'm the oldest sister of 3, and the oldest cousin out of 11. I've been taking care of my siblings/cousins since I was 10. I started babysitting outside of the family when I was 12! In my spare time, I like to read, write, and go to places like Gardens. I have two dogs at my parent's house that love to go on walks, so whenever I'm home and not working I spend time with them. One thing you should know about me is I care deeply. I'm also an empath! If you don't know what that means, I take on the emotions of others and I am very aware of the way emotions are effecting everyone.
