About Emily

Experienced nanny/sitter with Monday to Friday availability from 4:15 p.m. to 8:30PM, as well as Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. I have a degree in social work/human services from UB and past paid work experience as a Teacher Assistant at The Summit Center, Aspire of Western New York and the Ken-Ton School District. I'm also a Registered Behavior Technician and in-home respite therapist through KidsFirst Services. I have experience working with kiddos of all ages and abilities - anywhere from toddlerhood to adolescence, and including but not limited to those with special needs such as autism, ADHD, down syndrome, ODD/social-emotional-behavioral challenges, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, spinda bifida and those who are legally blind/deaf, in addition to neurotypical peers. I currently hold certification in CPR/First Aid, ASL and therapeutic crisis intervention and have had extensive training in handling allergy sensitivities.
