Hi all! My name is Emily. I am a graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in English Literature. I have 8 years of caring for children, from 3 years old to teenagers. I have also worked as a camp counselor for 3 summers with campers aged 3 to 12 years old. I am taking a gap year and would love to create some fun fall and winter memories with your kids! As much as I love Bluey and Paw Patrol, I believe in the importance of screen-free play - think board games, crafts, and nature activities! I think it is important for adults to give children structure and space to grow and explore their interests. With my skills and interests, I am able to provide a fun and smile-inducing environment for children!

I am so tired with people applying for jobs, then their schedules "changes", or their mind "changes", and they fail to follow through on anything. Emily fits this description. Applied for Thursdays/Fridays for us. We spoke on the phone and scheduled an inperson meet. My daughter got COVID so I offered a Zoom meeting. The response was her schedule changed so she could no longer do Fridays. I asked about Thursdays and she said she would still be interested and we set up a Zoom call. I waited 20 minutes with a sick kid on another device in her room and finally got a message back from Emily stating she thought she had sent a message cancelling, but the more she thought about it she couldn't do Thursdays. How unreliable or unprofessional can you get? If she states she can explain or denies this, I'll show you the chat log. Please don't waste your time.
