About Emily

I am 22 years old and caring for kids is a huge passion of mine. Being surrounded by cousins that are younger than me, and family friends with kids, I have always had a heart for them. I began nannying when I was 16 years old. I love spending time with kids and getting to understand each individual personality-- things that make them happy, ways to cheer them up, and talking them through their feelings when they are overwhelmed with emotions. Kids are unique, and although siblings are apart of the same family, does not mean they all have to be treated the same and get by with doing a mediocre job. I have worked closely with special needs students in middle school and high school, and I definitely have a massive place in my heart for them and have a gentle and kind approach when is comes to working with them individually.
