About Emily

My name is Emily, I cherish the time I spend with young people of all ages, whether they're learning to walk, or school age. I love supporting kids' curiosities, sense of autonomy, and am especially passionate about supporting them in building their relationships to the natural world. In addition to my work as a part-time nanny, I work as a flower farmer, and run garden-related youth programming through my business, Muddy Heaven. I've worked with children in many different settings over the past 10 years - camp counselor, mentor to unhoused youth, school garden teacher, nanny, the list goes on!
