About Emily

I started babysitting and nannying before I could drive. At my childhood home in Connecticut, I lived across the street from a family with two young girls. As the youngest of three girls in my own family, I bonded with my neighbors well and served as a person for them to look up to. I continued working for that family, and a rotating list of 10+ others, throughout my high school and college years. Now, both of their daughters are doing the same for other families! Nannying was my summer job for every year of college. I have always been comfortable with babies and young children, something I believe I inherited from my mother who was a kindergarten teacher and then an elementary school Special Ed aid. My sister is a first grade teacher in New York. A love of kids runs in the family! In college, I worked at our "Kids On Campus" daycare facility during the school year and nannied back in CT in the summers. I'm looking for either part or full time work until the end of August.
