Hi there! My name is Emersyn and I'm looking for a family in need of a short term nanny for this summer (2024) in the Manhattan area! I am currently in a full time graduate program to become a school guidance counselor. I have 3 years experience as a substitute teacher in K-12th. I work now as a school social worker and outside of that, I work with one-on-one with a special needs child. Last summer (2023) I spent living with a family and nannying for their 2-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl. It was such an amazing, wonderful, and fulfilling experience that I want to share it again this summer with another family! I am ideally looking to be M-F 8/9-5 p.m. (but flexible). Emersyn lived with us last summer to help us with our two children (ages 2 and 5 at the time). I cannot say enough amazing things about her - she is so caring, reliable and patient. She helped with some light meal prep, tidying up after the kids and their laundry, driving them to/from activities and following their defined schedules. My daughter literally bawled for 45 minutes the day she left to go back to school. Any family would be lucky to have Emersyn!!
