Hello! I am Miss Emmie and I'm from Ethiopia. Before moving to the states, I lived in Italy for about 5 years. Over there I worked as a housekeeper for 3 families. My job included cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, and even helping with the kids and pets. I moved to San Jose, California in 2000 with my husband and had my daughter in '01. From time to time I used to babysit. In 2004, we finally moved to NC and had our son in '06. My main job here has been being a barista at Starbucks. First at the downtown Raleigh Marriot Hotel location and then I moved to the UNC Chapel Hill location as a supervisor. I did sometime in the housekeeping department at the hospital, but moved to Starbucks fairly quickly. I've raised my 2 kids- my daughter is 22 and my son is 17. We come from huge families both my husband and I, so we love family and togetherness. Thank you for your time and considering me as your caregiver.
