My name is Elvira. I have experienced for 4+ years being an Elderly Caregiver/ Companion. I am very loving person. My mother went back in my country Philippines had Dementia I toke care of her for 5 years until she was gone, it broke my heart when she passed away, That's why every work for elderly care I put my heart, like I'm taking care of mother. My job description when I am taking care of Elderly/ Dementia patient, is to give their medication as scheduled. Assist and giving them a bath, see to it they are clean., brush their teeth, brush their hair. Wash their clothes and bedsheet, light housekeeping and cooking. Tuck them on bed during bedtime. Always be aware that they always woke up to go to the bathroom and to the kitchen because they always forget that the ate already, .
