About Ellie

I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and funny. I have experience working with special needs including autism and kids who may have behavioral health issues. Pets are not an issue. I have pretty open availability, so babysitting during the day or night are both options. I have 4 younger siblings, and I have spent a lot of time living with them and babysitting them since I was 13 years old. I am currently living with my younger brother who has Autism, and I am his personal support worker. I also worked at a wilderness camp for about 6 months, working with ages 11-28 years old. One thing you should know about me is I have experience working as an EMT for 4 years. My certification has just recently expired, but I still have a valid first aid and CPR certification. I am certified in pediatric and adult CPR. My skills include holding boundaries, getting creative with games and activities, and communicating with kids in a way that works best for them.
