I just graduated with my Master's in School Social Work, and I'm hoping to connect with families looking for part-time/as-needed care this summer before I start a school social work job in August. Prior to graduate school, I was an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at a play-based early childhood center in town. I value a gentle, conscious parenting/care approach, and love spending time outdoors with children. I have many years of experience caring for children of all ages/families of all sizes (although infant care is my specialty!) and I am more than happy to provide references from families I've previously cared for. I am often described as warm, reliable, and easy to connect with. I am fully vaccinated/boosted for COVID-19, and my rate is $22-25 an hour.

Ellen nannied for our daughter, Clementine, from three months until she turned a year old. The quality of Ellen’s attention, her ability to soothe and guide her, and her genuine joy while caring for her exceeded our highest expectations. She showed our little girl so much love, and the feeling was mutual. Ellen has become a member of our little family, and we’ll miss her terribly. Her next family is so lucky.
