About Ella

Hello! My name is Ella. I am a kind, welcoming and creative person. I feel it is so important to help foster children's innate curiosities through exploring nature, art, and learning more about the world through hands on experiences. Additionally, I am particularly interested in supporting children in developing strong social emotional skills, as they grow to become social citizens. In December, 2022, I completed my degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Special Education at the University of Vermont. Upon graduating, I was the recipient of the "John Dewey in Elementary Education Award." This award was given to a teacher who demonstrates the belief that children are active participants in, rather than passive receivers of education. Additionally, I have received a Certificate of Completion in the Trauma informed, Resilience-oriented, and Interprofessional Practices Course Sequence through the College of Education and Social Services at the University of Vermont.
