About Elizabeth

I am a college professor and executive functioning skills coach. I love to write and even better to help others improve their writing! I'd describe my personality as warm, humorous, down to earth. I like tutoring because I am a strengths maximizer! I live for helping other people improve - and tutoring for writing comes very naturally to me. I started tutoring when I was working in college admissions about seven years ago. In my spare time, I like to go to markets and antique fairs with my husband and find maritime treasures for our home! One thing you should know about me is I know what instructors are looking for when they assign writing tasks- because I teach academic writing at the college level. My skills include simplifying a long assignment prompt to make it easy to break down and understand what the writing task needs to include, doing fast, efficient research for a topic, and giving concrete examples to teach subject matter.
