About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, hardworking and caring! I like working with kids because it's the opportunity to have a meaningful impact in someone's life and it's just FUN! I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide a fun and safe environment for children while having structure in a relaxed environment. Additionally, since I am my child's only parent, one that allows him to accompany me. I started working with kids when I was 12/13 years old in what I would consider an official capacity. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my son and my family. I enjoy cooking, hiking, art, museums and volunteering. I'm very levelheaded, laid back and consistent. I believe rules and structure are great but that children/people also need to be met where they are and in ways that benefit them. I try not to put everyone in a box and instead try to understand what makes each child/person unique. My skills include communication, understanding and training.
