I have been taking care of children since 2009, and I love it. It can be challenging but its also the greatest job. I first started as an assistant day care teacher in 2009. One year later I started as a nanny for one of the girls in my classes baby sister. Since then I have currently worked for multiple families, doing all aspects of child care for newborn babies up to 8 years old. Right now I'm working part time for a family I have been with since 2013. But the children have gotten older (6 and 8 years old) and only need care after school certain days. Liz was a nanny for my infant and 3 year-old for almost two years. She has a wonderful temperament for small children, and she genuinely cared for my daughters, so much, in fact, that she continued to send cards and gifts for years after we moved away from the area! She has a calm and affectionate nature that my kids really responded to. And she also respected and adhered to all of our family policies about discipline, electronics, cleaning up, etc. She was a wonderful nanny, and I wish we could have brought her with us when we moved!
